Enio Arroyo Gomez

Enio’s artistic journey spans multiple forms of creative expression. Although he was trained as a sculptor at the National University of La Plata in Argentina, he currently works primarily with acrylics and paint on canvas, as well as works on paper. He draws inspiration from personal life experiences, which he weaves together with extensive readings in psychology, sociology, history, fiction, and investigative studies. Enio has also contributed to theatre projects as a scenographer and stage producer. Additionally, he has an extensive background in education, particularly in the fields of art, play, and creative expression for children and adolescents.

Among many exhibitions primarily held in Argentina and Costa Rica, one of the most notable was his 2016 solo exhibition BROTES at the National Gallery of Costa Rica. The show featured 350 pieces, 15 of which were acquired for the National Gallery’s permanent collection.
